This project was part of an Environmental Design course where the students each designed a bathhouse for the Lama Foundation in New Mexico. My initial design proposal was selected and further developed by the class throughout the semester. Then, in June, the project was fully constructed by the class at the Lama Foundation. Although students participated in each aspect of the construction process, everyone also had specific projects that they focused on and led the prefabrication and construction of. My main individual project was the acrylic shower partitions and bench dooes, including the design, fabrication, and installation. My other main project, which was done in a group with two others, was the creation of the window louvers. Finally, I was a team leader on the installation of the slats in the changing spaces and the fiberglass roof panels. For additional information about the class, click here.
